Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book.

Last semester I took a visual development class with Anthony Christov. The class was great, and you could defiantly see a huge progress in everyone's work!
For the class we had to choose a book to visually develop throughout the semester. I read Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book. It was a great read, it gave me so much to work with, I defiantly recommend it.
I still need to finish the environment concepts, hopefully sometime soon I'll find some time. But for now here are some character concepts along with some graveyard and house studies.

Its kinda a dark story, so I was trying to go for a German Expressionism look.

Noah's Ark

The next 7 images were for our Noah's Ark assignment. I was trying to keep a storyline for all the images but it didn't seem to workout that way. I was having to much fun exploring different possibilities for the assignment.

I wanted the ship to look like one of those crazy fish you see deep in the ocean!

I'm not sure which composition I like better.
